Meet chris mcconnell

Hi, I’m Chris, the owner of CleverClear Books and currently living (surviving) the sweltering heat of Phoenix, AZ. After spending several years learning the ins and outs of accounting, I’ve decided to start my own bookkeeping firm to help small businesses and individuals keep their finances in order. I also feel there can be some inauthenticity in the business landscape and as someone who prides myself on transparency and authenticity, I am looking to change that and infuse these cornerstone values in everything I do. CleverClear Books is the result, and I am so excited to expound upon my passion in working directly with small and medium-sized businesses, learning their story, and helping them increase their profits, while minimizing their expenses and tax burden. 

While I’m still relatively new to working with clients, I’m passionate about making bookkeeping easy to understand and stress-free. I know how important it is to have a solid financial foundation, and I’m excited to work with you to help keep your books organized and your business running smoothly.
